Dogs Welcome in all Cottages
Bring your four-legged friends with you.
We happily welcome dogs, up to two in The Barn, or one large/two small in Gooseyard and Daisy’s Place. Just email us at or visit our Contact Us page so we can prepare a special doggy box! To help us keep the cottages clean, please keep dogs downstairs and off the furniture.
If you fancy going out for the day or evening without your dog, then you can arrange for a dog sitting service in your cottage! Mary from Holiday Hounds in Shropshire will come to your cottage and keep you furry friend company whilst you are out and take them for walks. To arrange some dog sitting, you can call Mary on 07807 913729 or email her by clicking here.
We have a large guest garden and whilst it isn’t fully enclosed, there are plenty of places to tie a lead. Gooseyard and Daisy’s Place have porches for wet dogs and boots, and you’ll find an outdoor tap and brush outside the laundry room for a good dog wash!
You can walk from your doorstep onto local lanes, fields, and bridleways. Please keep dogs on a lead around the farm and enjoy walks across the Long Mynd hills. Best of all, our local pub just a half-mile away, welcomes dogs in the bar and dining area. Dogs stay completely free of charge – we just ask that they remain downstairs and stay off the furniture.
Treat your dog to an adventure in the Shropshire Hills. Our local area is packed with stunning trails, rolling hills, and tail-wagging views perfect for your next walk. Grab the lead and come explore one of the UK’s most beautiful landscapes together.
