Shire Horse Experience Day at Action Scott Heritage Farm

Shire Horses have been based at Middle Farm for over two decades. Facing into the same courtyard as the cottages, we are very privileged to witness owner and trainer, Steve Ledsham, working with these beautiful animals on a daily basis. Guests to Middle Farm can also watch these graceful animals being fed, groomed and even trained from the sitting room window.

Some of the Shires work at Acton Scott Heritage Farm for the spring and summer months, while the younger Shires spend their time between the field opposite or training under Steve’s very experienced hands.
