Attingham Park
If visiting Attingham Park main house as well as walking the grounds then we would suggest a whole day. Excellent restaurant on site. There is a particularly lovely deer park walk that, if explored well can extend the walking to over five miles. The pathways are flat and ideal for a pushchair. Dogs on a lead are welcome all over the park. Fabulous day out whatever the weather.
Berrington Hall
Another wonderful walking day out. Well maintained pathways through miles and miles of estate. Woodland, streams, orchards, restaurant on site and a magnificent hall to explore. Highly recommended.
Wollerton Old Hall
Framed by a 16th-century timber manor, Wollerton Old Hall features four acres of world-renowned Arts and Crafts gardens. Visitors can explore 14 distinct, color-themed “rooms” filled with vibrant perennials, sweeping vistas, and famous collections of clematis and roses
Dudmaston Hall
Surrounded by 3,000 acres of Shropshire countryside, 17th-century Dudmaston Hall blends classic country house charm with a world-class collection of modern art. Visitors can explore sweeping parkland, colorful formal gardens, an orchard, and sweeping trails around the Dingle.
Weston Park
Set in 1,000 acres of Capability Brown parkland on the Shropshire border, 17th-century Weston Park features an opulent mansion housing fine art collections, alongside formal gardens, a historic Orangery, and the architectural Temple of Diana
Benthall Hall
Perched above the River Severn gorge, 16th-century Benthall Hall is a fine Elizabethan stone manor featuring carved oak woodwork and plasterwork ceilings. Its grounds offer a restored plantsman’s garden, historic kitchen garden, vibrant rose displays, and scenic woodland walks.
Hodnet Hall & Gardens

This is an ancient landscape park with pleasure grounds and gardens. A stunning, scenic day out. Perfect for children and adults alike. There is a restaurant on site.
